Awards

We are proud to have won numerous awards, welcomed a wide variety of fantastic companies through our doors, employed an amazing bunch of dedicated event staff and introduced virtual and hybrid events to our clients, together with growing Horizon Leeds’s reputation to what it is today.

In 2019, we were thrilled to win the CHS Award for ‘Best Onsite Technology Offering’, along with the ‘Best Onsite Audio Visual’ in 2017 and 2018. Believe us when we say, we know a thing or two about technology.

We are particularly proud of the CHS Chairman’ Award, which we won in 2016, recognising our efforts during the severe winter flooding in the centre of Leeds. Although we are on the third floor, all our electrical supplies were in the basement which flooded and subsequently failed. Until repairs could be made we were forced out of our venue for three months. Despite this we organised a new venue for every client who was booked in and all the onsite delegate management. The Chairman’s award was in recognition of this dynamic approach and how we rolled up our sleeves and dealt with the situation to minimise the impact on our clients. This is something we are extremely proud of and meant that when COVID-19 hit, the team had the tools and mindset to assess the fast-moving situation and quickly set up what was needed to support our clients.
